Coming of the Mahdi and more ( Part 2 of 8)

Set Time ( Time of the end and death) for every Ommat (nation, religion) including Ommat of Islam.

Surah 7 = Al-A’raf, The Heights. Rodwell page 87-Verse 34 "Every ommat hath its set time, and when their time is come, they shall not cause an hour delay nor advance it an hour.

" The same meaning is given to Surah Junis (Jonah) Verse 49. Rodwell 84.

Sa'at = Hour Sa'at Is the term used to symbolize the time of the declaration of the promised one and Ajal means set time, end or simply "death".

Set time for Jewish Ommat (nation, religion) was when Christ appear, Set time for Christianity was when Islam was started. Since every Ommat ( nation) has a set time then lets investigate the set time of Islam according to Qur'an.

Is it when Mahdi comes and brings new books?

Some have tried to say that Ommat is an individual, but all pronouns and verbs are plural referring to groups of people sharing the same cultures, Customs and beliefs like Ommat of Christian or Ommat of slam.

Then the following verse shows that the set time is not the death of an individual as such an event does not need the revelation of a Book as mentioned in the following verse.

Surah 13. Al-Ra'd = The Thunder. Yusuf Ali-Verse 38; "...It was never a part of an Apostle is to bring one ayah (verse) as Allah permitted. For each For each Ajal ( period ) there is a book (revealed)."

Rodwell has translated "ayah" as "miracle" and Yusuf Ali has translated it as "sign" but Ayah in all dictionaries has a simple meaning of "verse" which corresponds with "book" which immediately follows.

Like any other religion, Islam ( Mohammedan Religion) has got a set time (Ajal ) according to explicit text above like all other religions of Allah.

Ajal ( Set time of Islam ) was the time the Mahdi revealed Allah's new Books.

Moreover, the Qur'an is a treasure of prophecies about future Messengers of God.

Do you think this is not what we want and such a person must be put to death? See what Qur'an says again.

" That whenever there comes to you An Apostle with what ye Yourselves desire not, ye are Puffed up with pride ? Some ye called imposters and others ye slay." Surah 2. The Cow ( The Heifer) Al-Baqara.-Verse 87( Yusuf Ali ).

Please read it again there is no need to say it in simpler sentence. ( Please remember Quran is a lesson for Moslem.)

Surah 2, Al-Baqara, The Cow ( young cow or heifer) Rodwell page 91-Verse 143 "Thus we have made you people (Ommat ) in the middle." Some Ommat ( nations ) before you and some after you. Here Qur'an clearly says Moslems are not the last Ommat.

There are two verses in the Qur'an which say that, if God pleases, He shall cause the Ommat-i-Islam to pass away and bring some others after them.

a) Surah 6; Al-An’am, Cattle. Rodwell page 89-Verse 133. " If He wishes He will take you and cause whatever He wants to succeed you, as He raised you from the offspring ( posterity) of other people."

b) Surah 4; Women. Al-Nisa’ Rodwell 100-Verse 133.

"If He pleases, He will cause you to pass away, oh people, and bring others in your stead. For this hath God power."

( Do you have any droughts in the God's Power? In fact this is what Allah did.)

According to Qur'an if human being reaches the rank of angels in perfection, still God will send them His Messenger.

"Say, if there were settled on earth angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from heaven an angel for an apostle." Surah 17. The Night Journey. Al-Isra’. Verse 95 ( Yusuf Ali ).

Who can claim that man has reached in perfection the station of angels. We need the teachings of the future Messengers of God to evolve, to get more and more perfection, and there is no limit to perfection. Allah carries on sending apostles even everybody reaches perfection of Angels. ( We are far away from that degree.)

Allah Himself declares in the Holy Qur'an that revealing of Books has been a practice of God (sunnat'u'llah or tradition of God ) and that He does not change His practice:

"Sending messengers has been practice of Allah already in the past; no change wilt find in the practice of Allah". ( Qur'an, 48:23) [ It seems that Traditions of the Nations ( Ommats) also never changes, always they opposed the new messengers of God and His followers.]
