By looking at the history of the Middle East during nineteenth century we find that the Persian government, under strong influence of the Moslem clergy, was shaken by the Siyyid Ali Mohammed Bab's announcement that He was the forerunner ( Mahdi ) of Him Whom God shall make manifest ( Baha'u'llah).

Baha'u'llah ( Symbolically return of Jesus); declared Himself "The Promised One of God to establish the kingdom of God and the unity of mankind on earth." He and His family were exiled and imprisoned by the Persian and Ottoman governments in the Fortress of Akka near Jerusalem in Palestine.

Now you know how God revealed explanation of some hidden secrets of Qur'an.

Since Bab, Baha'u'llah and Their followers suffered a great pain because of Their persecution, Allah turned this old curse towards the oppressors of His new Revelation.

Now we can understand why Islamic civilization that for many centuries was the most advanced civilizations on the earth declined to the degree that now most of the Moslem countries are considered as the third world countries.

West receives all of basic sciences from Islamic Civilization including Astronomy, Chemistry, Medicine Mathematics ( English numbers are originally Arabic's that are turned 90 degree.) Could it be any other thing than rejecting Allah's latest messengers ?

" As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with the terrible agony..  (Qur'an, 3:56)

Thousands of Iranian child work as prostitution in Iran and countries around Persian Gulf. Millions of Heroin addiction in Iran. Over one million youth died in war between Iran and Iraq both Moslem country. Over one million children died in Iraq because of shortage of medicine after the Golf war. War for what?  when Allah trough Baha'u'llah invites every nation to peace and unity.

Ottoman Government disintegrated after imprisonment of Baha'u'llah to over 20 countries. newly born countries as a result of this disintegrations like Palestine, Iraq suffered great deal from the war and poverty, turkey from earthquakes and famine ...

Every time that they Iranian prosecuted innocent Baha'is it followed by an earthquake drought and war there.

After martyrdom of Bab and 20,000 Babies there was a drought that they say mothers used to cook and eat flesh of their dead children, till Baha'u'llah prayed to Allah for calamity to pass because the faithful ones also were suffering.

Divine chastisement always followed those who oppressed the faithful ones. In my opinion there shall be more chastisement in the near future.

"Qur'an Yusuf Ali 3:105 "Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after Clear Signs: for them is a dreadful penalty.

Iran was the country that martyred "The Siyyid Bab" and Exiled Baha'u'llah ( Light of Allah ) and prosecuted Baha'is for so many years. Iraq was part of Ottoman government that imprisoned Baha'u'llah for many years.

Qur'an says Ommat ( nation) shall only suffers when they reject apostle of God.

...nor would We visit with Our wrath until We had sent an apostle. Qur'an, 17:15

And wrath to come are great and not much far away.

Nobody can declare a mission without the permission of Allah and Allah deals with the false ones not people.  

Qur'an confirms this. Surah 69. The Inevitable. Al-Haqqa. Rodwell 62. Verse 45 plus. "And if he were to invent any sayings in our name, We ( God ) had surely seized him by the right hand and had cut through the vein of his neck...."

Here Allah clearly declare that any false messenger shall be put to death by God Himself.( Real Messengers of God always were prosecuted by majority of people and Governments.)

Persian and Ottoman Governments and Moslem clergy played God and failed. ( see above Verse of Qur'an).

 They prosecuted the Bab, Baha'u'llah and their followers for many years, upon Allah confirmation and blessing Baha'i faith growth considerably during this 160 years and spread to all over the world.

Followers of Baha'u'llah are over six million in the world by now and growing day by day.
